Narrow Feed The Road

This is a very narrow feed the road in our place back home. This road built by the native residents long long years ago to be able to pass the other island by land transportation and not by boat. Today, they keep on developing this road, adding some cement and hopefully they can widen this very long narrow road that measures approximately of 7 Kilometers.

I love photo hunter for "taking" me places I would never see otherwise. Very neat picture. So different from my everyday view of the world.

Hope they can speed up the widening of the road and tar it. It must be inconvenient for the residents.

Creating one narrow road is better than relying just on the water. I feel safer on road than water anyway.

Thanks for visiting my hunt.

I've been all around the globe today. Thank you for a glimpse of the Philipines!

may the road widening prosper so that the village people's activities of daily living will be easier to carry out.

hope though that it won't be plagued by illegal vendors and parkers. LOL

It's interesting to see how roads change. Our road was a dirt road about 60 odd years ago. If you saw the traffic on it now, you would think that was amazing.

Great photo for the theme! Say "hi" to the Utah mountains for me, I'm from there and am homesick.

My photo hunt is up here.

beautiful picture. Great choice for the theme. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

That could be a long, narrow drive at night. Do any animals appear suddenly? We get deer hopping into the roads here - but they are not very straight. What is that like in the wet?
Good take. Thanks for your comment.

This is a glimpse of the Phillipines,
Mine is a glimpse of Morrocco! I love travelling on the internet! Great picture, and I hope that road STAYS narrow, it would be a shame building a highway in such unspoilt nature? I think?

We came upon such roads in Hawaii...we were walking - I don't think I would drive a car down a narrow road like this! Thanks for visiting me!

Love the picture you chose for the theme. Hope you can get that road widened and everyone can safely cross. I agree with everyone else, I have enjoyed looking at the photos from all around the world. Have a nice weekend. Happy Photo Hunting~

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Beautiful narrow road. I'm like Jientje I think it would be too bad to put a fully-developed road there and spoil the nature beauty.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I love hearing from others.

Today has really been a trip around the world. Great experience.

A great photo, and such green trees! I'm sure someday it won't look like that anymore, so it's good you have the picture to remind you. Thanks for visiting my "narrow" river photo!

That is very interesting. A great photo also. There is a farm on lowland not far from here which has a house built on fill. They bring in cement and dirt and there is a driveway built the same. It looks a bit like an island with a moat in spring when all the land around floods from the snow melting.

Not only narrow but a rough road as well. Maybe one day it will be paved and easy to drive then everyone will remember the great natural road they used to have.

My first reaction was: This sure doesn't look like Utah! Then, after reading a bit more about you, I "got" where "back home" is... ;b

I'm sure residents are looking forward to the development of that road to make traveling more convenient and comfortable.

Beautiful photo! Such a road would come in handy to connect our island (Gozo) to the main island. But then it wouldn't be as peaceful any longer ...

Happy Sunday, and thanks for dropping by! :)

Only 200 years until it is a highway.

That road looks like it'd wash away with the rain...

I think for a lot of us, who are used to paved roads and painted lines, that this seems quite the gamble to drive...
