This is a very narrow feed the road in our place back home. This road built by the native residents long long years ago to be able to pass the other island by land transportation and not by boat. Today, they keep on developing this road, adding some cement and hopefully they can widen this very long narrow road that measures approximately of 7 Kilometers.
I love photo hunter for "taking" me places I would never see otherwise. Very neat picture. So different from my everyday view of the world.
ReplyDeleteHope they can speed up the widening of the road and tar it. It must be inconvenient for the residents.
ReplyDeleteCreating one narrow road is better than relying just on the water. I feel safer on road than water anyway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my hunt.
I've been all around the globe today. Thank you for a glimpse of the Philipines!
ReplyDeletemay the road widening prosper so that the village people's activities of daily living will be easier to carry out.
ReplyDeletehope though that it won't be plagued by illegal vendors and parkers. LOL
Morning Sniffles
That does look like a narrow road. Hopefully it will be widened.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot,Darlz!
ReplyDeleteNice shot and good take on Narrow.
ReplyDeleteexcellent
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see how roads change. Our road was a dirt road about 60 odd years ago. If you saw the traffic on it now, you would think that was amazing.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo for the theme! Say "hi" to the Utah mountains for me, I'm from there and am homesick.
ReplyDeleteMy photo hunt is up here.
beautiful picture. Great choice for the theme. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat could be a long, narrow drive at night. Do any animals appear suddenly? We get deer hopping into the roads here - but they are not very straight. What is that like in the wet?
ReplyDeleteGood take. Thanks for your comment.
Goodly shot! Happy Photo Hunting!
ReplyDeleteNice shot!
ReplyDeleteI've seen so many different places today. Your road is certainly narrow. Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteI like the photograph you chose for the theme. It's been fun seeing narrow spaces across the world in this thread.
ReplyDelete7 km ! that's very long for such a narrow road !
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely photo for the theme. I love the way it stretches away behind the trees.
ReplyDeletenice pic for narow theme.
ReplyDeletehope the improvement of road will be enjoyed by the residents there.
happy hunting!
Looks kind of rough like the roads where I grew up.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
That is very cool... love the tree lined composition you took. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThis is a glimpse of the Phillipines,
ReplyDeleteMine is a glimpse of Morrocco! I love travelling on the internet! Great picture, and I hope that road STAYS narrow, it would be a shame building a highway in such unspoilt nature? I think?
Wow! That's a fabulous shot :) What a great choice for today's theme.
ReplyDeleteNarrow and it looks rough going too...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sight. Happy weekend
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I agree, it's nice to visit other parts of the world through photohunters. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe came upon such roads in Hawaii...we were walking - I don't think I would drive a car down a narrow road like this! Thanks for visiting me!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture you chose for the theme. Hope you can get that road widened and everyone can safely cross. I agree with everyone else, I have enjoyed looking at the photos from all around the world. Have a nice weekend. Happy Photo Hunting~
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today.
Beautiful narrow road. I'm like Jientje I think it would be too bad to put a fully-developed road there and spoil the nature beauty.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I love hearing from others.
Today has really been a trip around the world. Great experience.
What a great shot!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.

When we use daily a road we don't think how pratical it can be and with your explanations I understand the importance of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit!
So nice! Pinas ba yan? Great take on the theme. This also reminds me of the road less travelled... Ingat!
ReplyDeleteA great photo, and such green trees! I'm sure someday it won't look like that anymore, so it's good you have the picture to remind you. Thanks for visiting my "narrow" river photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, I love the "feel" of your photo!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to explore your blog further, it looks great!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Great shot! Thanks for stopping by my blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is very interesting. A great photo also. There is a farm on lowland not far from here which has a house built on fill. They bring in cement and dirt and there is a driveway built the same. It looks a bit like an island with a moat in spring when all the land around floods from the snow melting.
ReplyDeleteNice Narrow lane, thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
ReplyDeletegreat catch for the theme... hope' you'll visit mine too..
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, and such an interesting post, too. I love being able to see other parts of the world. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for visiting my blog. Hope you have a great weekend!
My entry is about road too - the Kennon Road. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteNot only narrow but a rough road as well. Maybe one day it will be paved and easy to drive then everyone will remember the great natural road they used to have.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteThis pics makes me wonder where in the Phils. you're really from.
ReplyDeleteThat road does qualify as narrow. I was trying to figure out what islands were in Utah until I read on!

ReplyDeleteNindot man imo pics Darl. Maayong weekend diha.
ReplyDeleteGood shot. That really is a narrow road. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDelete7km of narrow road.. woah! It best they can do up the road for more conveniance :)
ReplyDeleteThat is quite narrow for such a thoroughfare! But better than water only.
ReplyDeletevery interesting, and i can't imagine how crazy it could be when it rains!
ReplyDeletehave a great sunday!
ReplyDeleteMy first reaction was: This sure doesn't look like Utah! Then, after reading a bit more about you, I "got" where "back home" is... ;b
ReplyDeleteI'm sure residents are looking forward to the development of that road to make traveling more convenient and comfortable.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Such a road would come in handy to connect our island (Gozo) to the main island. But then it wouldn't be as peaceful any longer ...
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, and thanks for dropping by! :)
Only 200 years until it is a highway.
ReplyDeleteusing this road might be quite an adventure if it rains heavily i think.. we have many roads like that over here
ReplyDeleteWow! That is narrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my post!
Have a great day.
Lovely photo and an interesting story behind it. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDarlene, that's is very narrow. Reminds me of the 3 km road leading to my granpa's farm in the Philippines. I think we call it 'libaong'
ReplyDeletePerfect photo for the narrow theme....it is a narrow road.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit!
Happy Weekend!
ugh... most of our roads are narrow no?
ReplyDeleteexcept, i think, the NLEX and that major road in CDO :D
Thank you for the interesting tour.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. Nice blog.
ReplyDeleteThat road looks like it'd wash away with the rain...
ReplyDeleteI think for a lot of us, who are used to paved roads and painted lines, that this seems quite the gamble to drive...
